LIFTBRIDGEThe short version
FeedStash is self-hosted. The server runs on hardware you control, and everything it holds — your feeds, articles, saved items and account — stays there. Liftbridge Labs does not host it, cannot see it, and collects nothing from it.
The apps
The FeedStash apps and browser extension talk only to the server address you enter. There is no Liftbridge Labs account, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Your server address and access token are kept on your own device, in its secure storage, and are sent only to that server.
Anything the app keeps on your device — the articles and images it has downloaded so you can read offline, and your display settings — is removed when you delete the app.
What your server talks to
Because you run it, your FeedStash server is what reaches out on your behalf:
- the websites whose feeds you follow, and the pages you save, so it can fetch them and keep a readable copy;
- your mail provider, if you connect a mailbox for email-to-stash;
- Google or another OpenID Connect provider, if you turn on that way of signing in.
Those services receive the request your server makes and are covered by their own privacy policies. Nothing is sent to Liftbridge Labs.
Support
If you email support@liftbridgelabs.app, we see what you send us — your address and the contents of your message — and use it only to answer you. Please do not include passwords, API tokens or other secrets.
Children
FeedStash is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
